The Kittens Are Nameless No More!

Last weekend at ConDFW, Alistair and Jo held a contest to have people vote on the names for the kittens. (Doesn’t the table look nice?)

There was a prize of a $25 Amazon Kindle card for entering.

Whether it was the incentive or boredom, at least people voted. 😉 The winner was Jo Ferry (it almost seems like fate, doesn’t it?)

The names that garnered the most votes were:

Pixie, submitted by Sharon Kay

Shade, submitted by Tino Manning

and Sprocket, submitted by Wyndie Deaver.

The three who submitted a chosen name will be receiving a prize of their own, as well as their name in the acknowledgements:

And I promised that I would be sharing a surprise with you this week — sorry to be late — but I think it is really AWESOME!

The brilliant concoctionists  over at Tea Punk Teas and I have created a specialty blend called Jo’s Morning Jolt. A lovely blend of Scottish Breakfast tea with notes of lemon, orange, and strawberry. It is a great way to start the day. 🙂

It is a limited run at the moment, but I am expecting more later in the summer. If you are interested in giving it a try, drop me a comment, and we will talk. 😉

There will be more interesting things soon. Watch this space!
